Deconstruction 2013

The Town of Flora designated money from the Cigarette Tax fund to help with the deconstruction of the depot.  Volunteers, led by Curt Hufty, spent several weekends in November and December 2013 removing and bundling original materials for possible use in a future restoration.  They also removed the roof.  D&K Construction did the final dismantling.  Sections were placed on a flat trailer and stored in a town maintenance building.  Architect Dann Keiser, Cornerstone Design, had provided a Deconstruction Plan.
